  • What is your dress code?
    We’re a stylish venue and require smart casual attire.
  • Is there disabled access into the venue?
    Yes, there is disabled access into the venue, accessible facilities and a disabled carpark in our underground carpark. Please get in touch if you have any specific requirements.
  • Do you have to be over 18 to enter the Duke of George?
    We allow minors into the venue provided they are accompanied by an adult but notification must be given to the venue to make space for them. There is no door charge for young children under the age of 12. Children over 12+ yrs require a ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Do you serve food at the venue?
    Yes, we have a full menu available to order throughout the evening. Food is available before and during the show.
  • Do we have to pre order our food?
    Not at all, the Duke offers a restaurant style table service with your show. However if you have a large group it is best to contact us for the best options.
  • Do you cater for dietary requirements?
    Yes, we do – GF, vegetarian and vegan options are available. More specific requirements are best pre-arranged by contacting us.
  • I don't have tickets to the show, can I still come in for dinner and drinks?
    Absolutely! We have two general admission areas available for casual drinking and dining, the Jem Lounge & the Greenroom.
  • Is there parking available at the venue?
    Yes, there is street parking and a carpark located in the area. Both are free of charge.
  • How do I recover lost property at the venue?
    Contact us with a description of the item, what night you attended and where in the venue you were situated.
  • How do I apply for a job at the Duke of George?
    We are always happy to hear from professional, experienced and committed individuals wanting to join our team.
  • I'm a musician, how do I get a gig at the venue?
    Send your information, including listening content, photo and brief bio – our booking curator will assess if your tunes are a good fit.
  • Do you accept Companion Cards?
    Yes! Please contact the venue to arrange a companion ticket and provide a copy of your companion card when making the booking.
  • How do I join my reservation with a friend who has bought tickets separately?
    As we curate table seating every evening, it is best to let us know if you are joining an existing reservation. Just email admin@dukeofgeorge.com.au and provide your name and the other ticket purchaser’s name(s) so we can make sure you’re all seated together on the night.
  • Do I have to purchase a ticket to watch the show?
    Yes, all of our shows are ticketed unless specified otherwise. Tickets can be purchased online through our ‘What’s On’ page or at the door if not already sold out.
  • How long will the show run for?
    Most of our shows run between 2 to 3 hours. It’s best to arrive early to get seated and allow you time to check out our fabulous menu.
  • What time should I arrive?
    We recommend you arrive 1 hour prior to the show.
  • Does buying a ticket guarantee me a table seat?
    All table tickets will guarantee you a table with viewing of the stage. If you purchase General Admission, there are tables and chairs available but they are not reserved.
  • If I haven't booked a ticket can I still get in at the door?
    Provided the show is not sold out, tickets will be available at the door. If the show is sold out, we may still be able to accommodate you for dining & drinks in the Jem Lounge or the Duke’s Greenroom (outside).
  • My friends and I purchased tickets separately, can we still sit at the same table?
    Yes, please contact us to combine bookings. We require the following information; Show name, date of show, name of ticket purchaser for each booking & total number of people on the table.
